This multi-faceted individual is a self-proclaimed hip-hop connoisseur, a diehard Tennessee Titans fan, a history buff, a literature lover, a seasoned journalist, and many other interesting things. He’s also too smart for his own good.
Career-wise, he got his journalistic bearings in 2012 when he joined Sam Houston State University’s campus paper, The Houstonian, as a Staff Reporter. His beat was Internet Culture & Technology, and he was the sole writer over that section. Two years later, he left The Houstonian to finish his Bachelor of Arts degree in Multiplatform Journalism. During his tenure, he also blogged on the side to free his creative mind from the strict nature of hard news. In August 2015, he finally got his big break when he was approached to be an Assistant Editor for G4@Syfygames under NBC Universal. The rest is history.
